After The Fall: Free-Roam is an extension of the award-winning virtual reality shooter originally developed and published by Vertigo Games. It takes the intense cooperative action of the base game and expands it into a true free-roam VR experience, designed for location-based setups where players physically walk and interact in a shared space.
The game is set in a frozen, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, decades after society collapsed due to a catastrophic ice age. Humanity is struggling to survive against the Snowbreed — aggressive, mutated undead enemies — in a world of snow, ice, and ruined city streets.
In the free-roam edition, you and your team can move naturally within a designated area, using real body movement to navigate, aim, and fight — giving the VR experience a much more immersive and physical feel compared to standard stationary VR play.
